    Default Snowshoe Hare

This is a first for me, so I decided to post it.
This was just today on our property. We were driving and he saw it first and I suggested that we get the 22 and see if I could do it. He didn't think that I was serious, so we went back for the gun.

    Thanks, TruBluTex!
We boiled it until the meat almost fell off of the bones. We put some kind of chicken seasoning with it and then we put it in with batter and fried it.

    Yeah yeah... gogo.

Daniel... way to go Idaho! Hilarious.
Yes... we will keep the .22 with us next round. This round we were just going to take a little visit to Harter's Taxidermy so we didn't think that we needed to bring the gun with us.

We definitely ate it. It was pretty good, although I think that I had a bad part of it. (Muscle)
Wild rice. Ah... we could have done that, too. We actually boiled it, dipped it into batter, and then fried it and make it into bunny strips ... so I guess you can call it bunny strips and chips because that's what we cooked.

    Default RAbbit and chips...!!

Nice thing about using a .22 is that you know that you wont bite down on any lead shot.... that is unless you use a shotgun... I find this to tenderize them abit more than I like.....
