    Question Sportsman Show Question

I've never been, have a few things in mind to pick up while there.

My question is, do the vendors accept credit card there or is it cash-only?

Always trying to get a few extra miles!

    Default YES

They accept all payment methods. So rack those miles and buy, buy, buy.

    Default not all!

Boondocks never takes credit cards ever! They will have some smokin deals. Get there the first day! They are the only ones that come to mind. Might be others, local small guys, like knife makers or something. Some cash may not hurt, but can always hit the atm's or leave and go the bank and come back, stamp is good for the whole the day.

Thanks, was aware of Boondocks, as they are on the top of my list to visit.
Others are going to be luck shots I guess.

Boondocks will take checks and there normal procedure is you put money down for an item which you then have to pick up at a later date from their store in Anchorage. Most items can not be picked up that day, mostly due to inventory I imagine. They always have some deals on guns, last year picked up a 44 from them. Usually have deals on other repeat products, Helly Hansen, Waders, maybe a stove, tent, sleeping bag, gun case etc... Other larger places worth visiting is B&Js they take credit cards, Alaska Raft and Kayak, also takes credit cards. Most all places take credit cards and if you need to put cash down on something at Boondocks $200 has held $800 guns before. You will need cash for parking too ($5) or take a bus in for free. I plan on being there most of the show.
