    Default St. Paul Fox

Just got back from a 15 day deployment out on St. Paul Island. I saw between 10-20 arctic foxes every time I went out, most of them in blue phase. I ended up taking 2 blue phase, one pure white, one grey, and this one in the picture which had a brown face, paws, tail, and a white body. Overall, really fun hunting!

I was spot and stalking them. The weather was pretty nasty most of the time, windy and blowing snow. I would spot them from a distance and wait for them to bed down on the dunes to make my stalk. The hard part was that most of my stalks were blown by one seeing me and barking then they would all take off. I forgot my camera every time I went out except this time or I would have more pictures! I wish I would have brought it along when I got the pure white one, that was a good looking fox. I will post pictures of the hides when I get them back from the tannery.

CG thanks for the update. Always nice to see the 'finished product' when people keep us in the loop!
