Awesome man. Thanks for posting the pics here. So nice to see some images from folks trips. Post some more if you find the time. I would like to see some images of camp.

    Wink

The trip was great from beginning to the end .
Hunting was hunting and we did not bring home the bacon !!! But loved every minute of it .
The trip lasted about ten days from high in the mountains where the creeks were small and narrow to the wider parts at the end of the trip.
While in the mountains it took 3 days to hit a main river and we averaged about 5 MPH , just guiding , ducking under branches ,overhangs and rocks .

Fishing was great and they tasted good . A good replacement from eating Mountain House meals .

If I was hunting Beaver I could of had a hundred of them , man it felt like the river was infested with them .

The total river miles was 119.15 according to my GPS .
The last day we did 36 miles to reach our take out .I hope I never have to do that again .
To many miles in one day when the river was about at standstill , it seemed anyway.

I have another trip scheduled again this year with my son which will be his first and I hope he really enjoys it cause that would mean I have a new hunting partner !!!!

Here are a couple pictures of the trip close to the end .

    Enjoy

Thanks for the pics Rick! These are my favorite - the colors tell me it's September, and no place I'd rather be than in the Alaskan wilderness at that time of year.

Hope your son loves this year's trip, and you have a new partner for life.
