    Default Jordan's first kill!!!!

Going with the first hare theme, here is a picture of Jordan with his first. Missed the first shot and had a little help with the second. Aside from busting the stock on his dads 30+ year old nylon 66 apache black with chrome .22, we had a great time. Now just have to figure out where, if at all, we are going to find a stock. Might just have to replace with a youth rifle. At least Jordan will happy!!! Had a great weekend with friends, enjoying the outdoors, conversation and food. Jordan is already planning this weekends bunny hunt

Don't know if Remington still does it but they did a few years ago. Send them the busted stock and they send you a new one.

I have called them, all they have and all I can find threw numerous parts dealers in the brown stock. You know how us women are...Can't put a brown stock on rifle that is mostly black. Kinda like my shoes have to match my purse. So, I keep looking...and looking....and looking

Default In case you haven't already tried...

Gunbroker.com, eBay have lots of parts. At least I think eBay still does - they got rid of reloading supplies a while back.

There are a number of other forums like this that have classified sections too: AccurateReloading.com, 24hourcampfire, probably other.

    Good luck!

    Default Congrats for the kid!

I don't know but wonder if you could drop that barrelled action in a regular (or youth) wood stock??

There is a faster way off the mountain, might hurt a little though.
