    At least its not sunk in the ramp area. What a bummer! I wonder who has to foot the bill for getting afloat.

    i would not think it would be a huge job to get it floating again, (comparatively)

    Ouch - that crane's worth way more than the barge and could require a serious overhaul now.

    I was at the Whittier harbor masters office today and the barge was nowhere to be seen. I asked the lady at the office when the barge was refloated and she told me that it sunk on Monday and was refloated the same day. It is not in the harbor any more.
