    Default Pronunciation of ungulate...

    & ungulates...is with a soft g, like gyrate, & not a hard g, like goat...

m-w.com has the phonetic pronunciation as gy(schwa e)gye, so it's a soft g...& yet many people pronounce it incorrectly...sorry it's one of my pet peeves... :P

I think it's better to pronounce it with a soft M... as in moose.

I think this may explain the source of the confusion. Listen to the pronunciation of the word Undulate (having a wavy surface)

Default getting a little out of hand

I'm sorry and have'nt said anything but it seems that there is way to much use of this section with things not having anything to due with alaska hunting be allowed. or things that really belong in other sections and seeing moderators chimming in as well. Lets get on the ball guys..........
