    Default Peru in December

I will be going to Peru in December for my honeymoon. Does anyone know about the rockhounding there? I am just starting to do my homework on this issue and wanted to see what is available. I know there is gold, silver and copper, but what else? We will be hiking the Aztec Trail and visiting Lake Titicaca, other than that we are still trying to make plans. Thanks for the help.
It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.

    Talking Honeymoon?

If you think you are going to go rockhounding on your honeymoon you might want to confirm with your soon tob partner for life if that is OK. You will probably be told that you will be dedicated to some hardrock mining in a wet environment. If you mine for more than 4 hours at a time.....

Most likely it will be picking up rocks as we hike, I just wanted to know what is available, or what to keep an eye out for.
