    Default New Kifaru G2 backpacks

For all the Kifaru guys, they've just put out the Generation 2 series packs.

Improvements to the Longhunter seem to be the ability to sandwich the cargo chair between the frame & the bag; faster interface to convert to frame hauler, new design of the lumbar pad and, waistbelt upgrade.

    Talking Nice

They look nice. Their weight is good. The one drawback I see is, for the price you can almost get into a full custom Dan McHale pack coming in at the same weight or lighter for the same cubic inches and will fit YOU like a glove.

I've never tried a McHale's pack but when I hear that name everyone says they're the cat's meow.

    Default Backpacks

Take a look at Badlands or crooked horn outfitters for standard hunting packs. If your looking for a serious pack for a week long hunt, might try looking for expedition series pack. Don't be fooled into buying a setup built to stow a gun or bow, these are sales pitch packs. Buy a pack for exactly what you anticipate carrying. If you need a place to harness a firearm or bow, deal with that seperately. See gunslinger corral rifle holsters.
