Default New Tri-Van Rest - thoughts

Has anybody seen this rest in person?

I am curious what the experiences are with it. I like the idea of a hostage type rest, but I know they have had problems with brush wear. This looks like maybe it could give the best of both worlds of a hostage rest as well as a drop away. It probably will not be large enough for a FOB, but looks decent otherwise for someone not looking to FOB.

That is a cool looking rest. I would like to hear some real world experience as well...

    Cheers

Here is another one that is similar that has been getting great reviews thus far. It is set to hit the market soon hopefully. This is a link to a forum similar to this one. I am not sure if you can view the photos if you are not a member and logged in, but it is a pretty cool looking rest.

I like that it is sealed, given the weather we have up here. It is the Omega Elite rest by Athens Archery. Wonder if any local vendors here will get it?
