    Default no salmon... but a good day

    rick p came down and we made a day of it... got a little sloppy and we called it good.
    a black rockfish, a copper rockfish, a grey cod, and 10 crab.

    and yep. they are way full!
    we picked 7 after a week soak (bad weather couldn't get out, lot's of crab surely escaped..) baited the pot and picked it 4 hrs later and got 3 more...

    I'm the slightly taller bald dude without a hat. The crab were some of the best I've had in years!

    I just looked at the photo again..........Wow, Dave and I do look alot alike in full beard.

    I was going to ask which species of crab you caught. But I realize it's obvious that they're snow crab........

    I always wondered how anyone could catch those things out of a snowbank in the depths of winter. Nice job! Now ya got to teach the rest of us how to do that!
