    Default Middle Kenai Video

Well after being inspired by The Jedi and others, I finally got off my butt and put together a little video shot over four days last September on the Middle Kenai. So grab some popcorn and a drink and enjoy.

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with how it turned out. This was my first go at making a video.

    Chuck, yep it's Billy's Predator.

Jonathon, The King threw the hook just as the scene cuts away.
The best part of that piece of video is the reaction of the five guys onboard, all who are active or retired guides. See, even us guide types still get exited.

    Nice video.

Some pretty big sticks, we were planning on 6 and 7 wts.....too small?

When you say middle river, Skilak on down?

Again, enjoyed the video, nicely done.

The big sticks are Center Pin Rigs not fly rods. On them we were running 10 to 12 pound mono main line with 8 pound leaders. All of my silvers were caught on a 9' 7wt Sage though.

    Yes, Skilak to Bings Landing.
