Default First fly in 15 years

    "Grey hackle peacock"
I thought I would give you all a laugh....
I didn't know what to tie so I did one that has the most votes,--
( sorry AKMUD didn't mean to pick on you). It took me about 20 min. and the head needs work-(oops)..... I added krystal flash ... Anyhow don't laugh to hard.
I use to tie alot in my younger days, it was relaxing to me , but now it is work. ( maybe I'll remember all my tricks ).
you can pick on me or my fly --I can take it.
Hope to chat with you all. E-K-C

    Thumbs up

    Looks good E...

I haven't used the flash before, it looks good! The fly is one of my favorites for grayling. I might have to steal your idea!

The porcupine is a peacful animal yet God still thought it necessary to give him quills....

It is great for grayling and also for fishing around the lily pads in the local lakes for stockers. Looks like they are taking them for the small beetle insects that sometimes cover the lily's.

A very nice Job and as my wife said. If I was a bow I'd eat that in a heartbeat.

Great work and thanks for sharing

    EKC,
If I tied it, I it would surely be the nicest in my box!

Looks great, and will catch fish for sure.

Nice tie! I think you'll be the one laughing once springtime rolls around. I like the addition of the flash for wings. Well done!
