Default Need original Win 92 hammer

I have an original Winchester 1892 in 38-40. Actually made in 1892...

The top of the hammer is worn enough that it is not cocked by the bolt. So it drops back down to half cock when the bolt is closed.

I made the problem even worse by cleaning the heck out of the old gal. Before, some of the crude on the bolt /receiver rails held the bolt tighter.
Now that is it squecky clean, the bolt slopes around a tiny bit more and never forces the hammer down far enough to engage the full cock sear....

you might give Andy Hawk in anchorage a call and see if he has one... the last time I was in his shop, he had a number of old Winchesters laying around for donor parts.
