    Default Mauser Shotgun

I stay in South Africa and recently purchased a Mauser side by side 12 gauge shotgun that I believe was made in South Africa by Musgrave.

Could anyone give me some feedback on value and time period the gun was made? The only markings are Mauser and Musgrave.

Would anyone be interested in doing some hunting in South Africa?

    Let me know,

    Thanks

    Sounds interesting.

I have a Mauser 12 gauge single shot bolt action "Erfurt" 1917 WW1 rifle that was rebarreld in the 30's....the only one I know of.

Ever try Gunboards.com? I look there every day, 'cause I collect Mosin Nagant's, but I'm sure with a picture or two, you will get all the info a fella could want. they have all kinds of Forums, and world known authors and collectors.

    Good luck!
