    Default 375H&H/350gr Woodleigh loads

Any here loading 350gr Woodleighs RN SN in the H&H? Chasing a load around the 2300fps mark.

    Thanks

I bought a box of DoubleTap 350's. I would love to know a load for it. The gentleman from woodleigh does email back load data. We can't get them here unless I order from Midway.

    Default 350 woodleigh

Quoting from Phil Shoemaker's article in a recent "Rifle" mag "64 grains of 4895 netted something just short of 2300fps."
I too am into this project and have the bullets on the way. If anyone has done any more with this, let us know.

Here is a link to some data that may help you:

Scan down towards the bottom of the page and there is a chart with loads and your bullets. They are loaded faster so I would imagine your 2300fps goal would be an easy shooter.

I killed a cape buff with the 350 grain solids with them running about 2400 FPS.....I had 51" of front chest to rear body of penetration.

Another guy over there killed an Elephant at 25 yards and the 350 solid traveled and estimated 40 " of elephant.
