    nice fish!

is that a commercial season? I though pcod fell under other gamefish for sport regs...
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

    Default commercial jig season

The federal season closed about a week ago and the state season opened up today at noon, the quota will go fast, price is about .30 a pound, but what do you do? $3 fish are just swimming around looking for a jig to bite!

I can't tell who is fatter......you or the cod? How much are you worth these days at 30 cents a pound?

Hugs and fishes from Juneau, maybe I'll see you this spring at the show in Anchorage.

Not much I'm afraid, but filleted I could go for $14-25 a pound, skinned, dewormed.

DPh, or gimbal bearing made a strange sound as I was idling out of the harbor this morning, I went back and called Kodiak Diesel and they plan on coming next week. Damb! fish were biting and schooled pretty good too. Got to look at the bright side, better now than during the king tournement!

    Default kodiak may 18th-july 05

I was thinking of our island wide King tournement, but Homer sounds fun, weather permitting I'll shoot up your way. Is trolling off the Kenicott allowed? if so maybe I'll take the ferry.
