    Talking Snow in gun boot

I remember some one talking about doing some thing to keep the snow out of a gun boot. I can not remember what they done. I'm having trouble with fine snow getting in around the end cap on my gun boot I have on my snow machine. Any one have an idea how to seal the end cap to keep the snow out?

Will have to look at one of mine, but is it possible to put a cloth gasket ring around the male tube, placed to seal the gap when the female is on top ?

I use a 4-6"in. pc,s of cut car inter tube. Put around like big rubber band where the snow gets in.

I don't have any problem with mine, but I have it mounted up by the backrest so there isn't much snow swirl up there. My partner uses a cloth end cover on his. He had it made with velcro and it seals rather well. It may even be quicker to deploy when needed.
