Nice job...makes me miss having a boat in Homer, though. How long were you guys out there?

I concur...but I guess I didn't have to watch it....well, ok, I DID have to watch it, but it sure makes a man envious. Nice crabs, too, Dave. Did they get some salmon before they became dinner?

the launch is open and the harbor is ice free.
(but it is blowing 38 knts at the harbor, wind chill of -17, visibility between 25' and 500', 12' seas 7 seconds apart off anchor point, ...... and redoubt is about to blow and homer is in the 10x ring for predicted ash fall. c'mon down!!!!<grin>)

Those flip vids are sure cool, Dave. We're keeping watch on Redoubt news, hope it doesn't blow. If it does, I guess we will expect some more vids on another section of the site down the line <grin>. Good luck!

man, that's just mean posting that!

I've been dying to head to Homer once a month to look for winter kings, but the boss (aka Wifely Unit) denied the request under grounds she did not want to become a wintertime fishing widow along with her status as a summertime fishing widow!
