Default Its on... Building a fiberglass bow

well I started work on what I hope to be a 45# longbow today with step one: riser glue up.

Riser is chestnut and red oak for accent
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

Step two, cut out riser, sand sharp, then I clamped it to a peice of oak for storage to protect the tips

and got some cuttings that will become tip overlays

next up I gotta build a form and get my glass and tapers together
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
