    Default Threading Line Through a Roller Guide;

    While placing new line on my halibut rods for the 2009 season, I began to wonder what is the correct way to thread the line through the first, double roller, roller guide? Do you go in between the two rollers, or do you come over the top roller, "S" turning around the bottom roller? Both ways seem to make sense, but which is correct? Thanks!

    Default Halibut rod

    I suggest going BETWEEN the rollers then OVER the roller at the tip end. Good fishing to ya.
