    Default Launch wheels question....

I just picked up a Quicksilver 380 inflatable off of Craigslist...it's a great raft and it was a killer deal. I'm planning on using it for our trip to Valdez, Homer, Deep Creek etc...The raft came with cheesy Wheel-Away brand launch wheels, but the quality doesn't compare to the last set I had on my Avon.

Can anybody help with a quality, durable launch wheel combo?
Here's a pic of the ones that were on my Avon--I wish I could remember the name of them or know if the GI I bought that raft from built them himself...

Sorry for the grainy pic, these wheels were very stout.

    Thanks!

I'm in the process of putting together some very nice, very stout launch wheel set ups.

I found that I had to build them myself.

If anyone is interested in a quality set, let me know...

I'd be interested, I have a 12 foot that I put a 10hp on. Even with 3 guys plenty heavy.

AKfish, I have some aluminum stock at the machine shop, when I get it back I'll post on the progress.
Even cheap launch wheels are ridiculously expensive.

I'm trying to keep these quality ones reasonable. They should last a lifetime, too.
