Default Going rate for cutting stock & installing recoil pad?

Anyone have any idea what the going rate is?
I bought a Simms "precision Fit" recoil pad for my 450 Marlin Guide Gun & it is far from "Precision fit"! Almost .25 longer than the original. It's a very poor fit. BUT, I decided that might be OK. I think I might get a bit lopped off the stock & have a grind to fit pad put on.

The Simms pads are no fun to grind.

The "Precision Fit" pad I got specifically says not to grind or it will ruin the pad.

About a $100 depending on the pad. PM gunbugs and ask him.

I think Andy Hawk charges me around $80 including the pad, but call him to verify the price. they always come back perfect from Andy.

    Thanks guys.
Steve from Alaska Precision (sponsor here) also quoted me about $80 including the Limbsaver pad.

I enjoy doing my own work but the wood on my gun is very nice & I've never cut a stock before....
Guess if it didn't come out plum I could always go with a slip on.
