Plentycoupe: Nice! We caught about 20 of em on glue traps out here in Afghannystan. In addition to those dangerous guys, we've also thinned out the local dog and cat population, and accidentally smashed a few hedgehogs with our truck.

Should make a nice full body or rug mount. It was a nice parting gift, regardless what you decide to do with him. Glad you're home.

    Smile A Happy 2009

September- My first brown bear. Around 6.5 feet, perhaps a few inches more with generous stretching. A pretty color, though it doesn't show in the photo- it was raining hard while skinning.

December- winter moose for the freezer. He obliged me with a broadside shot at about 70 yards while I was on snowshoes. We were able to get machines and sleds close enough to have to pack him about five to ten feet (my kind of pack).

I also took a whitetail in KS with my bow on the first day of November. It was small but it was in the LAST minutes of the LAST day- spot and stalk on the hike back to the vehicle.

    Happy 2010 everyone!

I think I have seen these photos before. Oops, I meant to say that I've seen these animals before. I saw them before you shot and after you shot. Nice days in the field, huh?

Hopefully more of the same in 2010.
