    Brand New.

Emptied out the Gun Safe and sold off 56 pieces. Rifles, shotties and pistolas. Getting ready for the move up and did not really need that kind of arsenal.

Keeping my Mod 29's, Faith and Gloria cause they have been with me for a long time and saved my bacon once or twice.

    Gonna name the GS,

    "Thor's Hammer".

Not sure about the name for the 870 yet but it will come to me.

New lever, trigger and sights coming. A little work here and there and I'll be set.

Nice rigs but you might trade the big knife for a 22lr.You got all bases pretty much covered.

Got the squirrel and rat guns stashed. Hate to admit it but I did keep a couple of the .22's for small table fare.

Pal of mine knows our plans for Ketchikan and gave it to me so I had a "Real" Alaskan knife. Said my K-bar was kind of small.

Gifts like that from friends bring back wonderful memories. Have a friend that gave me a gun that I would never have bought for myself when I moved back here after several years away. Every time I look at it I remember him.
It may be the same with the knife. You'll find that any decent 4" blade knife wil do the job here, but that one will always bring thoughts of your friend, whether it's on your belt or the wall.

    Wink

I think real Alaskans use a chain saw in place of what the big knife might be best for.
