    Default southcentral AC meetings

    3 The Central Peninsula Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold elections January 12th at the Ninilchik School at 7 pm. Also on the agenda will be preparing comments on the BOG Southcentral proposals (if books are available). For more information, contact David Martin at 567-3306.

    3 The Homer Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold elections January 13th at 6 pm at the NERRS building in Homer. Also on the agenda will be preparing comments on the BOG Southcentral proposals (if books are available) and prepare comments on the BOF Statewide Shellfish as time allows.     3 The Kenai/Soldotna Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold elections January 14th at the Kenai River Center at 7 pm. Also on the agenda will be preparing comments on the BOG Southcentral proposals (if books are available). For more information, contact Gary Dawkins at 262-3993.

    3 The Anchorage Advisory Committee’s Game Subcommittee will meet January 14th at 6:30 pm at the Rabbit Creek Rifle Range to prepare preliminary recommendations on Southcentral Region Board of Game proposals 1 – 100 for the full advisory committee to review at their February 3rd meeting.     3 The Cooper Landing Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold elections January 15th at the Community Hall at 6 pm. Also on the agenda will be preparing comments on the BOG Southcentral proposals (if books are available) and approval of correspondence regarding KRSMA land selection.     3 The Seward Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold elections on Friday, January 16th at the Seward Council chambers, located at City Hall, at 7pm. Also on the agenda will be preparing comments on the BOG Southcentral proposals and any other items of interest regarding fish and game. For more information contact Jim McCracken at 224-3701.

    The Mat Valley Fish & Game Advisory Committee will meet January 21 at 7 pm at the MTA building in Palmer, 480 Commercial Drive. Agenda items will include preparation of comments for the Southcentral Region Board of Game proposals and an update on the Sportfishing Economic Survey.     3 The Copper River/Prince William Sound Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold elections January 26th at the Moose Lodge in Cordova at 7 pm. Also on the agenda will be preparation of comments on the Southcentral Region Board of Game proposals. Public is welcome. For more information, please contact Tom Carpenter at 424-3101.

    3 The Susitna Valley Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold elections Tuesday, January 27th at 7 pm at the Willow Community Building. Also on the agenda will be preparing comments for the Board of Game proposals, a report on the Sportfishing Economic Survey, and an update on hatchery budget and development.     3 The Mt Yenlo Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold elections January 28th at 12 noon at the Skwentna Roadhouse.     3 The Denali Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold elections January 29th at the Cantwell School library at 7:00 pm. Also on the agenda will be preparation of comments on the Southcentral Board of Game proposals and hear a report from Dave Rutz on actions taken at the Prince William Sound BOF meeting.     3 The Anchorage Advisory Committee’s Game Subcommittee will meet January 29th at 6:30 pm at the Rabbit Creek Rifle Range to prepare preliminary recommendations on Southcentral Region Board of Game proposals 101 – 246.     3 The Tok Cutoff/Nabesna Road Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold their elections on February 3rd at the Slana Community Hall at 5:30 pm.     3 The Paxson Fish & Game Advisory Committee will meet February 4th at 7 pm at the Paxson Lodge to comment on Board of Game proposals and hold elections for the seats that term expires 12/08. For more information contact John Schandelmeier at 347-9013.

    3 The Kodiak Fish & Game Advisory Committee will hold an election meeting, February 4th at 7pm at the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge Center. Agenda will include discussion of the herring ACR (dept committee and stakeholders work group was formed to discuss and take action on several options) and prepare comments on shellfish proposals Also on the agenda will be preparing comments on the BOG Southcentral / Southwest proposals. MEETING WAS POSTPONED FROM JANUARY 8TH TO FEBRUARY 4TH DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.

    Next meeting of the Kenai/Soldotna AC will be Feb 4 at 6 pm at KPC....there will be a notice in the paper and I will post it one here as well.
