Thick, Thick, Thick, little to no shoreline on the 16B side of Dedought Creek. You could hunt black bear on both sides, most of the grass is on the 9A side of the creek. Both Brown and Black bear. But 9A is closed to Brown Bear for the spring. I hunted the fall and saw only one bear. The spring would be best. You can walk up the creek in the fall for a mile or so. Water would be high in the spring I would guess. Steep cliffs and rocky shore on the 16B side. You would have to brush bust and try to find a not so thick spot up top and glass that. Was way too thick in the fall. spring might be better. Plenty of bears just hard to hunt.

Dedought Volcano, looking up the creek.

Some of the Alders. They were full of bear trails.
