Default ? For Taurus Judge owners

    Hi All:
    Just curious...
Is there anything to prevent someone from "God-forbid" dropping a .454 or .460 in a Judge
And NO, i'm not volunteering to test fire it if they do fit!
    Thanks!

Sure seems like a disaster just looking for a place to happen.

Well a 460 will fit in the chamber of my 410 so I'm sure it will fit in the Judge, and blow it to heck and back if you pull the trigger.

just read article on judge. in the article the editor tries to load the judge with a 454 and a 460 round. Its cylinder is machined so they willnot fit. The problem he did find was some manufactures 3" 410 do fit which would not be good. Good article.

Well you made me think so I dug out a 410 shell and it is .472" at the brass and .460" at the plastic. A 460 S&W round is .474" all the way down to the crimp. So what you say would work, just form a shorter chamber that will take the 410 shell and not the 460. That is not what they did on my 410 shotgun, a 460 will fit in it.

I wonder why some 410s wont fit in the Judge.
