Default Kenai-Soldotna folks, who sells primers, powder in your area?

I have bought lots of stuff from Arron over at Gator Guns. The guy at Brown Bear guns was out of everything the last time I was up there.

Who else sells primers and powder in the Kenai, Soldotna area?

There is nothing left down here in Homer, so it is time for a road trip...

Gator & Brown Bear would have been the two who carry the most stock. If they are out, then the pickin's will be pretty slim.

There is The Impact Area on K-Beach road near Poppy Lane. Smaller shop and minimal selection of reloading stuff, but might be worth a call to see what he's got (he's in the book).

Not much else in this area for reloading supplies. Last time I was at Sportsman's in Anchorage, it didn't look too good up that way either. You might be outta luck for a bit longer...

Dang it!. My brother up in the Valley says that the SW up there occasionally gets in shipments but you have to be waiting...

Try "The Ammo Shop". They are off K-Beach between Kenai & Soldotna.
283-6110. He loads ammo commercially & sells at gunshows etc.He gets most of my reloading component business, & usually has a good stock.
He's opiniated & if you stop in his shop expect to spend some time because he is a talker, but he usually has a good supply of components along with loaded ammo. His loads a lot of heavy cast bullets for handgun & big bore rifle calibers along with all the normal stuff.
If you get this way shoot me an email & maybe I can meet you for coffee.

I have bought from him before as well. I like his ammo. I just called and he is out of primers, other than pistol,

The impact zone only has pistol primers as well.

My stash of old primers from the 1970s is starting to look pretty good.

Anyone up in Los Anchorage ever see Wolf primers? Are they worth a darn?
