Default Poll for the AOD RYC meetup date

How's this for a hijack.. It's obviously biased to my days off.. I can have it banished if you like Grey.

Vote on the date, I'll look for large anchorages in the Lethco bible and start another poll.

What weekend is has better tides? I would do a early July Ling opener or late for the first wave of Silvers and more Lings. Yes and Halibut to.

I gave up on trying to tame you. I just go with the flow. It will be fun.... Actually he should decided if we want to fish for halibut or silvers. Michelle is talking on spending the whole summer down in florida. That means ton of fishing

I hope Michelle tries to go out fishing this year. Then you can ease her into hunting later. Glad you guys are having a nice time in Florida.

    Red face RYC?

Pardon my ignorance, but what does the RYC stand for?

Also, I was just being a smartass, mine will probably be the only boat out there that fits that description. I feel a bit ashamed of myself for hi-jacking this idea from Gary. If these dates aren't good, we can have this poll deleted and start another one so that the true owner of this idea can make the trip for his ideal date.

I doubt you will find a weekend that works for all, how about having it open all summer for whoever wants to make it? or several dates?

You know I'm sure we will do a couple this year if we get a good turn out.
Pony Cove would be a nice one to get people to go to.

Yes it will be hard to get a date that works for everyone. That is why they have cameras

I'm back in town now. Mid May I think we should pen in a date. Of course up here weather will be a factor.

Default Come on, weenies, commit to a date!

I couldn't care less when it happens...I just want to be out there when it does! The whole idea of a singular date with a backup is that everyone modifies their schedules and makes it happen. Since Alaska Gray opened up this can of worms it is incumbent upon him or his designee to actually LEAD! That means to put forth a date, an anchorage and a schedule of events.
Quit worrying about who can or cannot make the date. Those who can't make the date will hear about all of the fun that was to be had and will make changes so that they can attend in 2010. If you started working halfway hard to make this a class-A event you might even find some sponsors who would like to see their names associated with the AOD RYC. The potential is there for some real cool events...it just needs formed up and fired off. If you need help with a particular aspect then ask someone to throw you a lifeline...I'm certain that many talented and generous people visit this forum and are willing to help.
