I just got a Henry Lever Action 22 Mag and I'm looking for advice on a fixed power scope. My biggest question is 4X or 6X? This will be my all around carry (truck) gun for the occasional fox, lynx, coyote or rabbit that I come across, as well as some plinking at the range. Would the 6X be too much for this particular application or does the "more is better" logic apply? I have shot 4X scopes on 22lr's but thought the extended range of the WMR would justify a 6X. Would I be wrong?

Thanks for any and all advice,

BTW, here are the two Leuopold scopes I'm considering...
1) FX-II 6x36mm Matte Wide Duplex
2) FX-II 4x33mm Matte Wide Duplex
