    Default Snowmachine Hunting Ptarmigan slayer!!!

In continuing with the "Merry Christmas to Me" line of thought Christmas Eve I was able to to pick up another new gun I ordered last week. This one is a T/C Contender in the G2 pistol. Its the stainless frame and I bought a 10" stainless 45. LC/.410 shotgun barrel with the choke.

Polarisblake has the same gun with the wood/blue with the 14" barrel and I can't even began to count the number of birds I've watched him in years past. I look forward to putting this thing in action. Pics soon to follow.

I never had a Contender, but I've shot them.... I love those guns.

Nice! Where'd you get that pistol at? How much if you don't mind me asking? That would be perfect for ptarmigan.

Interesting combo Lanche.... How close do you get to your prey before pulling the trigger? Sounds like the perfect set up for snowmachining!

I think the effective range with 14" barrel I've seen is about 40 yrds. So I'm thinking the 10" ought to bring me out to atleast 30 yrds. We'll see.
