Default So as it turns out winter fishing is cold

I think it froze hard last night because the entire bottom was frozen anchor ice, cruervo channel is ice tight it wasn't saturday and there's shelf ice on just about all the holes... We could use a chinook for the fishing to pic up again... It was snowing hard and that made it like fishing in a half frozen slushy, we couldn't get a decent drift.

Managed to go 2-3 on silvers, I of course LDRed mine on purpose absolutely on purpose....

    Few Pics

    yea thats cold
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

    Akpm,

As always, your pics are beautiful! We always see pics of summer fishing, but rarely of winter Fly fishing!

    Thanks for sharing!

Nice pics AKPM. And what you say is VERY right, winter fishing is cold. Looks like one of those typical, beatuiful, Alaska mornings.
