Default what do I do with smelly bear hide?

Just got my brown bear back from the tannery and lets just say we have all smelled better things before (I looked in the archives and couldnt find anything about this, although I am a little slow). What do I need to do? Can I spray it or is there something I can put on it to take away the smell? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Default Describe?

Can you describe the smell? Is it a rotting smell or some remnant from the tanning process (leathery, chemical, etc.)?

Its from the tannery (not rotting or anything like that) smells like a mixture of maybe some chemicals, saw dust and some other smelly stuff. Not real sure what all it is

share what may have happened, just not the taxidermist, I have a friend who had a whitetail mount come back the same way.
