    Default antler question

found a real nice shed today(both sides) of a moose . what would be the correct distance between the main beams on a moose to estimate the total spread. we used 9" but i'm not sure of that.

    Default Pretty close

Moose will average around 10" from eye-socket to eye-socket, measured from the outside. the antler base is somewhat inside this area, so you're probably pretty close.

I'm attaching an image so you can see what I'm saying.
