    Default Fort Rich Winter Draw

Took my first moose with a bow yesterday. We went out for the opener and didnt see a thing but a bunch of other hunters. Went out yesterday morining with my dad and i got lucky enough to spot this cow off of the trail. 50 yard stock and whe gave me a nice 20 yard broadside shot. Double lung pass thru. Anyone else score???

I used a Bowtech 82nd Airborne with a G5 5 pin LE sight, Ripcord release. the arrow i used was a gold tip 7595 with G5 125 grain montecs.

I saw that aktroustbout's posting, looks like it was a nice cow too. Quite a bit of cows taken already, I had talked to two other guys on opening day that had both taken cows too.

Akpacer: you bring the Sake, I'll roll the Tuna.

    12 cows
2 antlered bulls at about 34" each
    2 antlerless bulls.

That is what the last email that i have gotten from the folks over there at fort rich said, that was a week ago (December 30th). I am not to sure how much hunting has been going on with it being so cold out.
