Default Winterizing Kit for a Maule?

    Hello,
Does anyone know of a winterizing kit, or procedure for a M-4 Maule 210C? We are supposed to hit -12 F in Spokane this week, a heat wave by Alaska standards I guess, but cold for here.
People on Maule.org suggested taping up the oil cooler. Is anyone familiar with an aftermarket kit or baffling system? I'm worried about shock cooling an expensive $$$ engine.

    Thanks,

    James

The only operating temperature I've needed help with has been oil temp. Duct tape on the cooler is necessary all year round for my plane. Less in summer, more in winter.

Shock cooling is an operational problem, not an environmental one.

second the duct(duck) tape on the oil cooler and pre heat both the cockpit and the engine. Gyro hate to spin cold. Oh yea if you plan on breathing during taxi open a window so you don't ice the windshield, warm boots just to make you smile. have fun
