Default Question for you to answere about out of state hunters

A guy is here to hunt Ft. Rich with a bow starting tomorrow. He is an out-a-towner. He drew the Ft. Rich any moose hunt. Question is does he need to pay the $400 out of state fee for a moose tag even though he drew one? The guys on Ft. Rich didn't have an answere for him and F&G isn't open till tomorrow at 8am and he arrived just the other day. I don't really have an clue. Seems like no but then again seems like yes.

harvest/draw tag is different than a metal locking tag, yes he needs to have the metal locking tag as well.

    Default tag

He was fortunate and drew a permit. He now has the opportunity to hunt after he purchases a metal locking tag.

    Default Needs to pay

The draw gives him the opportunity. All costs are still applicable.

    Default Thanks Everyone

I never thought about the metal tag. He planned on buying one but nobody had an answere for him. So thanks for helping out. Called around and Wal mart and Fredy's already turned them back in to fish and game. So he will hit Fish and game first thing in the morning. Tomorrow is opening day.

Snowwolfe, yes he has the non resident license, I think he had bought one to apply for the hunt. Just no info on the locking tag part. Like mentioned he expected to pay it but didn't know if he really had too. Thanks again. Totally off note hear, but you bought a nice rifle, I love my ruger and carries nicely.

For the answers, we will need to see pics if successful. Pretty please.

What was the final answer? I know he had to buy the locking tag.

My brother drew a non-res grizz tag for the Brooks last year and had to buy the metal tag also.

    How did the hunt go?
