    Default AR Scope

So I have recently purchased my first Ar it is a DPMS AP4 carbine with a detachable handle. I was looking to attach a low powered optic to the handle and was also wanting to use the irons as well. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks

Really, if you are wanting to co witness with your sights and have something that magnifies, I would honestly consider either an eotech with a flip to side 3 or 4x or an aimpoint. They are great setups and you can go from red dot (or crosshair for eotech) to zoom in a fraction of a second.

Besides that, if you have a proper front sight, it will get in the way of your scopes field of view (i think...lol never actually bothered putting one on my 200 yard rifle lol)

By coincidence I shot my DPMS 308 for the first time today with a new 1.75-6 leupold on it.
I have tried a red dot and open sights on it. I prefer the low powered scope. Much easier to shoot accurately at longer ranges and still has a great field of view on lower power for short range work.

you should buy my leupold mark 4 cqt

    illuminated reticle, variable powered
I used it on my SASS set up but i sold the rifle and now do not need the scope. It works well though
