Default The boss said "Buy it".

I sent the boss a link to this company and told him my department needed to get one on order. He replied, "Give me a ride when it comes in."

Then I walked down and told him the cost and then he said "^&$* that!"

I think they are made in Australia. Honda powered hydraulics. I read where they do well going up rivers, driving over shallow areas. I like the idea of busting thru that 3 foot surf to get back to the big boat. Never have to worry about packing all the gear across the flats when the tide is out either.

I'm thinking that front wheel would cause quite a bit of drag in the water. I would think it would be comparable to trucking around a bay with your anchor out. Cool concept overall, but $75K can buy a lot more boat.

Maybe there is a currency exchange that we aren't factoring in. $75,000 Australian is like what, $4,500 us or is our economy really that bad?

    75,000 Australian Dollar (AUD) = 49,699.50 USD

Even if the amount is in AUD, I can think of a few other boats that I'd rather spend $50K on.

Default The only drag is on your wallet

The front wheel folds forward up out of the water. Check out the videos and gallery.

The way I read it it starts at US $74,000 plus.

Way cool and I want one. Maybe a business loan? Any bankers out there?

Would love to see the look on the tracker launch guys face at Deep Creek as you roll on by.

I thought it would be great for Deep Creek or Anchor pt. as well. But you know those rollers get pretty big some times. I'd be afraid that this thing would end up upside down trying to come in with some big rollers.
