Default **STOLEN** 06 Ski Doo Freestyle 300 on 12/8 in FBX

Hi everyone, just getting the word out as my son's snowmachine was stolen out of our locked enclosed trailer on the evening of 12/8 here in the Riverview Drive area of Fairbanks.

There is a reward offered for the return of the sled.

Any info, please call the Fairbanks Police Department, AST, or my cell @ 388-1020

    Thanks,
    Matt

    crap, sorry to hear that

So much worse that it was your kids machine. I dread the day when I have to introduce my 7 and 5 year old to this disgusting part of our world.

Sorry to hear this! It ranks right up there with the scum that stole the wounded warriors iron dog sled...

It has been plenty of years but I actually recovered my Polaris ATV that was stolen in the late 90's so sometimes they are recovered!

There is an "Evan" sticker on one side and a "Mason" sticker on the other.

    Thanks

    Default how?

How did they get in? Did they drive away or haul it off?
    Will keep my eyes open.
Seeing the smile on your boys face would be reward enough.
Did you put it in the paper and on Tradio? If you work for, or know somebody that works for the school district they have a classified system too.
    Good luck

    Default How?!

    Ellamar,
I would like to know it was stolen out of a locked trailer as well? One would assume it would be safe locked in an enclosed trailer.

Machine was in a locked V-nose enclosed trailer in my driveway. They cut 2 padlocks, lowered the ramp, drug it out the back (I pulled the key), drug it 20 yards across the neighbor's front lawn to the street. From there we lose the tracks.

First call was to Craig Compeau to put an APB out to dealers in case someone comes in looking for a Freestyle key. The Freestyles don't have the chipped tether system like the bigger model, so I'm sure the ignition could be bypassed.

Craig not only posted the flyer at the shop, but included the picture and a summary on his newsletter/promotion email that went out to 3000+ recipients...reminded me why I buy all my toys from him. The guys at Northern Power were helpful in posting the flyer and getting the word out as well.

So I'd like to say the word is out and I'll follow up on the ideas above, thanks everyone for your concerns.
