Default Stoney Point Rapid Pivot Bipod....

Saw this the other day while still looking for what I want in a rifle rest, and looks like it may be the coolest thing goin' in bipods. Adaptor that fits onto your sling stud allows you to quick-connect the appropriate sized bipod for your needs. Also the swivel base still allows you to have a sling. Looks quick and painless without lugging around a bipod all day on the rifle. And at my size, the mid size model might work as a make-shift walking stick....I dunno...anyone have any experience with 'em?

I bought one for my kids .243 and they have had good luck with it so far. It is not as stable as a real bipod but is light and comes right off when you want it to(like walking through brush). The one issue we had so far is the sling stud stripped out, still have yet to take a look at it.
