Default Help with Red Dot Sights & Holographic reticle

Hi, all, I'm new here and am
trying to find folks that know
about this kind of sights on
    auto handguns for target
    shooting. I bought an S&W .22
    S-1 for target shooting. I
talked to some girls that are
    on the national competition
shooting team and they said to
hit what your shooting at and
have alot of fun too, to get a
red dot sight. Last year I
    bought an holographic
    aimsphot for around $180. and
the thing just came apart, I
    put it back together with
loctite and it came apart again, so I took it off and
threw it in the drawre. Now I
see all of these red dot
    advertised for use with
    handguns, shotguns, and rifles
under $200 where i must stay as a poor man. I was hoping
    you could give me some
insight as to whether I can
shoot sight in my price range
or if the only ones worth using
are the one the US military
use that are all the way up
into the $3000 range, just for
the red dot side of the sight?
any information will be of help
good news or bad I can handle
    it thanks, ray

Try Ultradot. I bought the Ultradot Pan AV for my S&W 460V. paid $160.00 for it. Money well spent.

Ultra Dot without a doubt. Best for the money. Mine hold up to my .475 and 45-70 revolvers. Lifetime warranty too.
    Go to www.ultradotwest.
Don't even ask how much junk I have destroyed on revolvers!

hey guys, I can't thank you enough, ultradot it is. I sure thank you I didn't want to keep buying sights that were ment for paintguns. I know these companies will put a $10 dollar item online for $200 for people that don't know what they're buying, and when it comes to red dot sights I'm one of those that just don't know and don't knowmanyone with experience with them. thanks, ray
