    Default New Griffon Pup!

The cat is out of the bag now....Unfortantly, mother nature threw Frank a curve ball and his Griffon only produced one female pup.

We picked Kate up in Anchorage yesterday evening and traveled back to Fairbanks today. The roads where absoultely aweful there and back...But well worth the trip.

Kate is getting well aquainted with my boy and I think they will make a good pair in the up-coming years. She sure has the genes built into her that a good hunting dog has to have. Kate is already play retreveing a play stuffed duck and gets alot of praise right away and has pointed a few times at some "dumpster chickens" in a pull off on the way home.

I will post picks as soon as I can.

We are as happy as a lark and yet still saddened by Frank's small litter that others where also expecting.

hey nice photos i bet she attachés to that boy first lol... ours is in the baby heals non stop. I think part is she always leaves a morsel.. but they sure play good together too. it took a month for him to settle into the family, but i guess thats to be expected on an older dog...

and as frank told us and we read every thing

THEY DO NOT like to be left alone.....we have to kennel Andy when we leave. good thing we work from home

    great looking pup..

Fine looking son you have there, Ben.
It's going to be impossible to seperate those two soon enough.

    Hey Ben,
I met that cutie Kate before you did !! I met Franks wife at the airport with the toyo i bought from him and when i arrived the first thing that caught my eye was that beautiful pup sitting on one of the seats at the airport. If nobody was looking i would have grabbed her and ran!! Good luck with the pup and i have to say that Frank is one stand up guy.

Potbuilder-She has been a good dog since we've got her. She has been testing some limits in the house though, like sneaking into the kitchen and trying to knock over the trash. (When she does that I bet my wife wishes you would have took her at the airport.)

She is really laid back and she puts up with constant torment from the boy. If I was a dog I would have bit his butt already.

I would have to agree Frank and his wife are great people.
