Default Calcutta Flashfoil Swimming Shad Baits

Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) in using the new soft baits out for black bass and yellow eye? The brand I am familiar with is the "calcutta flashfoil swimming shads"

    Default Kings

We used everything we could one day trolling for kings off Deep Creek and a buddy threw on a Storm rubber swim bait, sure nuff, 40lb king. I have used them since, and have done just as well as using spoons, spinners, and troll herring. We used them on a diver then about 5'-6' leader. They really look good in the water and troll at different speeds. Maybe this helps. We always figured in Kodiak that if the black bass were hitting your stuff, it was working OK.

    Default They work

I have used them, I think. It was either the Calcutta or the Storm shad baits. They work great for the black rock fish but were too light for going deep. The little "flibbery jibbery" tail didn't last long either. A buzz bomb worked just as effectively and lasts a lot longer.
Spending my kids' inheritance with them, one adventure at a time.
