    Default Raft Stolen in Valdez-

    Hi folks,

This is a cut and paste from the KCK listserver concerning a SOTAR raft and trailer that was stolen in Valdez. If anyone knows about this, please call the Valdez police department.

    -Mike

Please keep your eyes open for a bright yellow and
blue 14' Sotar self-bailer. It is a very "unique"
looking. It also has a bunch of signatures written on
    it in perm. marker.

It was stolen last night in Valdez. They made off
with the raft and trailer. The trailer is home built
blue frame w/ wood timber deck.

If spotted please contact the Valdez Police Department
    at 835-4560.

    Thanks

    Default Thanks

Mike: Thanks for reporting this. It happens in the fall quite a bit in town. Things just seem to be towed away. Funny though as it is 1 1/2 hours to the Glenn Allen. But things can disappear into the wilderness.

Thanks for the note, Chris. A SOTAR is a big investment and it would have been a real shame to lose it. Do you have any tips for anyone else out there that might become a victim in the future? We don't know the details of this situation, but...
