Default Moose shed for full body Grizzly scene mount

Looking for some help. PLEASE I was fortunate to take a nice Grizz with my bow in Ak. I found a moose kill, and set up on it to take the bear when it returned to feed. I am having the Grizz mounted full body in a scene that appears as though it is on a covered moose kill. I was fortunate enough to take a real nice P&Y moose the next year, and kept the hide from the legs complete down to the hooves. My taxidermist has actually tanned and mounted the feet and a portion of the legs that will be sticking out of the dirt on the scene to immetate the buried kill. We both think it would really had the finishing touch to have 1 side of a moose antler sticking out of the dirt as well. Looking for a decent paddle. Does not have to be a monster at all, but at least average to decent. Actually does not have to be a complete horn, as we are thinking of about 6"-10" tall by 12"-18" long being visable. Mainly the top portion of a paddle. Looking for one that is not bleached. Would love a freebie , but am willing to pay. I have my own UPS account, and can have come to you with a preprinted lable to ship the boxed antlers to me.

    Thank you for looking,,,,,,,, Darrell

Not to hijack here, but what's the story with this, Steve? What did you use the remainder of them for?

I bought them at the fin and fur auction. I plan on making something with them this winter. They are cut offs form the trophy destruction areas.

    Default Antler

I believe you can buy moose antler from Alaska Fur Traders on the corner of Tudor and Old Seward.
