Those are some great pictures! I sure got excited when I saw that rub. Where I hunt on Kodiak we see a few alder rubs, but that is a pretty good one.

My bros cabin/trailer is in Hollis. There are a few spots close to Hollis we like to hunt, saves driving. We try to spread the wealth and harvest a few everywhere though, Keep the populations close you know
We'll be on the Tuesday Ferry. Tough to miss, we'll be the two nice upstanding, young men...(read between the lines and that says we look like juvenile delinquents on the lam)
If I see ya I'll be sure to introduce myself.

ICB, I'm sorry to tell you this, a couple of months back we both turned 21 and that mean we are no more juvenile delinquents, we are now delinquent adults.
Also you might as well go put 20$ in my room because I am winning the biggest buck again.

I might be heading to Montague the day after thanksgiving, if the weather permits. Let the wife hit the sales while i hit the Black tails.

    Default My POW Trip

I was down the 8th to the 10th and I hunted for 2 and a half days. Saw 17 bucks and killed what I needed. I also got to take a fella from Washington I met out to get him his first blacktail as well it was a fantastic time. I hunted up near Coffman Cove and over toward Naukiti. Good times. I will be heading back down with a buddy in December for his meat run. TIme to insulate the cabin!

Connected on this one Sat a.m. He was chasing a hot doe.

I happened to be in the right place at the right time!

    My first mainland buck ever!

Shot with .30-30 and a handloaded 130 gr TSX at around 75 yds.
