Spent three days in PWS last week, and had great weather with new snow down to the beach. Lots of deer sign but was not able to put an eye on even one deer. The full moon may of had them moving at night, tried calling and followed fresh deer tracks clear up to thigh deep snow. Found a real nice shed and two very fresh rubs walked my tail off but to no avail. The good news is my partner who was hunting with a 22-250 sat down in a snow covered meadow I had been calling at and had this beauty of a wolverine come within 35 yds. A nice shot through the neck gave us a once in a lifetime hunting trophy.
