    Default Kel-Tec SU16

Has anyone had any actual experience with the Kel-Tec SU-16 semi-auto .223 Rem rifle? Saw one recently and wondered. They don't feel all that solid in the hand, but I was curious. Thanks

I have heard nothing but good things about them. From what I understand, you usually want to replace the furniture on it though. I've seen everything from quad rails to just regular (albeit modified) ar grips on them.

Seems like a quality pistol, and with Kel-tec's rep, if i could afford one, id probably get it.

I have been looking at these rifles lately also, the only advice I can give from my research would be to go for a SU-16C model, it has a medium weight barrel vs the light barrel's of the other models, and can be fired with the stock folded, while the others can't.

This months guns and ammo has an article on it. They gave it a favorable review, they said the trigger was really horrible though. Also they mentioned there test rifle liked lightweight ammo and was getting decent accuracy.
